AEROSMITH Guitarist Unveiling New Hot Sauce On Thursday

November 9, 2004

Launch Radio Networks is reporting that AEROSMITH lead guitarist Joe Perry will unveil his new hot sauce at Jake & Earl's Dixie Roadhouse in Waltham, Massachusetts on Thursday (November 11). It's called "Mango Peach Tango", and it's made with habanero peppers, mangos, peaches, onions, garlic, lime juice, red bell peppers, and aged red wine vinegar. The sauce will be highlighted on a special tasting menu that will include scallop, shrimp, chicken, and pork dishes.

It's Perry's second hot sauce, following the introduction of his "Joe Perry's Rock Your World Boneyard Brew". Perry said that he's had a life-long love affair with hot stuff. "I've been a fan of spicy food since I was a kid," he told Launch. "My grandfather turned me on to ground chile peppers, and I like a wide variety of spiced-up things. Over the years, hot sauce has been one more thing to make life more exciting. I found myself always mixing hot sauce together to get the right blend."
